Do you want to lead the development and coordination of IT across an international organisation? We are looking for a Group IT Manager for Svanehøj who can ensure stable IT delivery, clear prioritisation, and strong execution and operations across Svanehøj’s global IT organisation.

The Role and Context

As Group IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT delivery at Svanehøj and for ensuring a stable structure, strong execution, and effective governance across the company’s IT landscape. Youwill report to Svanehøj Group’s IT Business Partner and become a key strategic partner in the continued development and professionalisation of the IT function.

You will have leadership responsibility for an international IT team working across support, business-facing IT, and specialised system areas. The team includes Business Support team members handling dailyIT support, as well as specialists within areas such as data, ERP, and master data.

A key part of the role will be to ensuring structure, coordination and follow-up across operational IT delivery, follow up with external vendors, and manage operational challenges. At the same time, you will workwith governance, security, and compliance, contributing to the establishment of clear frameworks and processes for IT.

You will join an organisation where IT is undergoing development. The company is working on several initiatives including the consolidation of ERP systems and the implementation of SAP as a global platform, while the IT organisation is being integrated into a larger international structure.

Svanehøj is in a period of organisational and business growth, including ongoing integration into a larger international structure and the acquisition of new companies. The role therefore requires composure, strong oversight, and decisiveness - both in daily operations and in relation to growth, M&A, and critical operational and escalation situations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving and further developing IT governance, compliance, and security

• Working closely with the business on IT deliveries and improvements

• Managing and developing collaboration with external IT partners

• Ensuring alignment, prioritization and execution across infrastructure, application support and IT services

• Contributing to structure and execution in an organisation undergoing development

• Ensuring stable and efficient IT operations across the organisation

• Implementing ERP systems on a common platform and ensuring that the Group’s IT standards are effectively implemented across the organisation
  

The role combines operational responsibility with tactical development, and you will have significant influence on how the IT function evolves in the coming years.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of operations, structure, and collaboration in an international organisation. You work methodically and with discipline in IT operations and governance, and you have a natural ability to maintain oversight and drive progress in complex environments.

You are motivated by ensuring that systems, processes, and collaborations work effectively in practice, and that documentation, structure, and compliance are in place. A significant part of the role is aboutleading through others - creating clarity, setting direction, and ensuring progress - rather than being the technical specialist yourself.

We imagine that you:

• Have experience with IT service operations in an international organisation
• Have worked with applications, ERP landscapes, cloud, and IT service management
• Have experience with vendor management and collaboration with external suppliers
• Are accustomed to working in a matrix organisation, where local needs and Group requirements must be balanced

In addition, you communicate effortlessly in both Danish and English and have a relevant educational background within IT, engineering, or a related field.

Svanehøj was founded in 1928 in Aalborg by marine engineer F. Dam, who - inspired by his experience at sea - wanted to develop more reliable marine pumps.

The company designs and manufactures deepwell and submerged marine pumps, pumps for engine rooms, and complete pump systems for all types of vessels.
