Join Anticimex Innovation Center
Founded in 1934 in Sweden, Anticimex is today a global leader in modern pest control and prevention. With more than 12,000 employees across 22 countries, they combine sustainability, innovation, and customer focus to create safer, healthier environments.
At Anticimex Innovation Center in Bagsværd, Denmark, their mission is to develop cutting-edge smart traps and IoT solutions that are transforming pest control into a data-driven, humane, and environmentally friendly industry.
To strengthen their ability to deliver reliable connected devices on a predictable cadence, they are now looking for a System Test Engineer (IoT / Embedded) to join their team in Bagsværd.
The role
As System Test Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how they test, validate, and release their IoT products.
You will co-own the integration and system test suite across hardware, firmware, and software, making sure every device that leaves the lab performs flawlessly in the field.
In this role, you will:
- Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual system tests (C/C++, Jira/Zephyr).
- Validate end-to-end system behaviour across hardware, firmware, and cloud connectivity.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, and Quality to ensure system reliability and traceability.
- Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, stability, and automation.
- Turn test results into actionable insights that guide product and process improvements.
You will be the person who keeps the system honest - validating what matters and turning test results into actionable insights.
What you bring
We are looking for a technically strong and curious test engineer with a background in embedded, electronics, or IoT environments.
You likely have:
- 3–6 years of experience in system and/or integration testing.
- A solid understanding of how firmware and hardware interact.
- Practical experience writing or maintaining C/C++ test code.
- Good understanding of electronics and wireless technologies (BLE, LTE, Wi-Fi).
- A structured and methodical approach, with the courage to stand by your results.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
If you have Python skills, experience with microcontrollers, or familiarity with field testing and lab equipment, it’s a plus – but most importantly, you bring curiosity, initiative, and the ability to make things work in practice.
What they offer
This is a unique opportunity to step into a visible and impactful role in an international growth company with high ambitions and a strong culture of trust, collaboration, and technical excellence. From day one, you will have the freedom to influence how they test and validate their products, the support of skilled colleagues who care about quality, and the satisfaction of seeing your work make a real difference in the field.
You will be part of a pragmatic, friendly, and forward-thinking environment where documentation is kept practical, decisions are fast, and learning never stops. The work is hybrid, with most days on-site in Bagsværd and occasional visits to their Helsinge factory for builds and test setups.
